We go Friday and Saturday. Saturday is busy but nowhere near the festival obviously. Friday it's a lot quieter, no idea on Sunday.
My mate sorts the tickets, so not sure on the price sorry. Again obviously it's cheaper and there might be some deals flying about from what I remember.

The wives of the group of us that went to the cheltenham festival want to see what all the fuss is about, so going to take them for the 3 day event in november. Any ideas of what ticket prices maybe? is it packed?

booked ours in jan but struck lucky, was 2100 for 6 of us 15 mins walk from course.
that was for 7 nights max, we did 6 due to work etc.
we have looked online for the same property next year and its 5500 :(

Question for those of you that did the full stint at Cheltenham last week. When did you sort your accommodation out and what did it cost you? Only ever done the one day travelling there and back on the day and thirsty for more next year.

Those preview nights helped me no end.
I think my luckiest bet was on the last day when I had backed Roi Des Francs & Mckinley.
Literally a minute before the off Killutagh Vic was going round in my head from the Preview nights, my gut said back it so i legged it and stuck 15 on to win at 7s.
Was pretty happy with that.
Away from the big races my favourite was J Codds ride on The Package, I thought it was a blinder and one of the best rides of the week, I had £15 EW at 9s. He just had him covered up on the rail all way round, travelled brilliantly and I was never in doubt. Bloody great performance from the 12 year old.

Never been before and enjoyed it so much on the Wednesday, that I actually had one of those teenage come down things after an all night session, going on the next day.
Went with a load of women from work, so promised myself I'd be on best behaviour.
One of them did a couple little videos of the day......first up me, on the top deck of the bus back, shouting at half a dozen Chelsea 'fans'.
